Tara Jayanti and Ram Navami share their Tithis (dates) on the last day of Chaitra Navratri. Ma Tara is a Tantric Hindu Goddess who holds the 2nd position in the sequence of the Das Mahavidyas (10 Wisdom Goddesses of Tantra) described in Tantric scriptures. And among the Dashavatars (10 Avatars) of Lord Vishnu, the 7th one is Lord Ram.
The Relation Between Ma Tara & Lord Ram
Not many know that Ma Tara and Lord Ram are deeply connected, despite being deities of 2 seemingly different sects — Shakt and Vaishnav. And it isn’t a coincidence that the Tithis of their birth/emergence are the same.
The Guhyati Guhya Tantra associates each of the Dashavatars with one of the Das Mahavidyas. Among them, Lord Ram is linked to Ma Tara, who is considered the source of His destructive power that slayed the demon king, Ravan.
Tara Jayanti
As per the descriptions in the Mahakal Samhita, Tara Jayanti is celebrated on the Tithi of Chaitra Shukla Navami in the Hindu calendar. The night of this Tithi is therefore called Tara-Ratri.
According to Swatantra Tantra, Ma Tara first appeared on the riverbank of Cholana or Cholata Sarovar on the western side of Mount Meru.
Among the several prevalent Puranic stories of Ma Tara's appearance, the one concerning the slaying of an elusive demon named Hayagriv (not the Vishnu Avatar) is the most prominent.
Fulfilling the conditions of his boon regarding who could kill him, the black-complexioned Goddess Mahakali turned blue and took the form of Ma Tara to end his atrocities by annihilating him.

Ram Navami
Lord Ram, the Purushottam Avatar (Perfect Being) of Lord Vishnu who slayed Ravan, was born on the Navami Tithi during the Shukla Paksha of the Hindu month of Chaitra. Hence, the day is celebrated as Ram Navami.
Lord Ram was born at the mid-point of Madhyahna, the middle part of a Hindu day. It has a duration of 6 Ghatis (roughly 2 hrs and 24 mins).

Worship on Tantra Sadhana App
Ma Tara is known as the Saviour Goddess in Tantra, as She is quick to eliminate obstacles and enlighten seekers with divine knowledge that leads to liberation from worldly bondage.
Tara Jayanti, the last day of Chaitra Navratri, is one of the most potent Tithis to invoke Ma Tara’s presence in your life.
Therefore, the Tantra Sadhana app by Himalayan monk, Om Swami, is set to open Her Secret Shrine, where Sadhaks can chant Her Dhyan Shlok as many times as they wish, for free. You read and hear the activated Shlok in Om Swami’s voice as you chant it.
Usually, the app takes you on a preset path, where you worship the Das Mahavidyas through their Mantra Jap, Tantric Yagna, and esoteric Sadhana, starting with Ma Kali and progressing to Ma Kamalatmika.
But the Secret Shrine appears on spiritually potent days, such as the period of Chaitra Navratri, to allow Sadhaks to connect with a Mahavidya through Her Dhyan Shlok directly, without waiting to unlock Her world.
Invoking Ma Tara has never been this simple. May you make the most of it.
